Slip Resistance
A textured wear surface engineered for wet, greasy zones — dish pits, fry lines, walk-in thresholds. The places slip-and-fall claims actually come from.
Eco-Grip is the slip-resistant, anti-fatigue safety floor that health departments accept in lieu of quarry tile — and FSE is where San Diego comes to see it. Samples in every colorway, cove-base and drain details and real restaurant fixture settings, all in our showroom so architects, contractors, installers and operators can stand on it before it goes in a drawing set.
Quarry tile fails at the grout. Mats fail at the edges. Eco-Grip is a PET fiber-reinforced sheet system that seals the room from slab to cove — and it's the floor we'd put in our own kitchen.

A quarter inch of cushion underfoot. Your crew stands on it for a ten-hour shift, and the rubber mats — the trip hazard and the nightly scrub — go away.
Heat-welded seams and an integral cove base turn the floor up the wall. Non-porous, nowhere for water, grease or bacteria to hide. Health departments accept it in lieu of quarry tile.
Goes down over many existing substrates — including old quarry tile. On a retrofit that's the difference between a weekend and a closed week.
PET fiber-reinforced construction under constant rolling traffic, backed by a five-year warranty when maintained with the Eco-Grip cleaning system.
98% recycled content and LEED-eligible — a safety floor that also clears the sustainability line on a public or institutional bid.
Three standard, three premium. Samples of every colorway are in the showroom. Bring your finish board.

Most flooring gets chosen from a two-inch sample chip. This one you can walk across, drop a pan on, and see how the cove meets the wall — before it's in a drawing set.
Specify it with confidence — cove details, seam layout and transitions are all visible in the showroom. We'll send the spec package and CAD details, and point you to certified installers.
Bring your own flooring sub or get certified yourself. FSE supplies the material and sequences it with the equipment set so the floor and the line land together — your crew, your contract.
Replacing a failed quarry-tile floor in a working restaurant? It goes over the tile. Bring your manager and let them stand on it for five minutes.
Schools, hospitals, military and municipal kitchens — accepted by health departments, LEED-eligible, and spec-able for any certified installer to bid.
Eco-Grip is sold only through certified installers — that's what protects the warranty and the floor. Our sister company Surfacing West Distribution runs hands-on installer certification training in San Diego. Earn the credential and you can buy the material and bid the work under your own license.
